The Role

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing teams across a variety of projects. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is passionate about creativity, community, and small business success. You will gain hands-on experience in strategy, social media, copywriting, website updates, creative production, and content shoots, both in-office and on-site with clients.

This is not a remote position. The role requires you to work in our Fulton, Maryland office during agreed-upon daytime hours with a consistent weekly schedule. Dependability and punctuality are essential.

What You Will Do

  • Assist marketing teams with day-to-day tasks across strategy, social media, websites, design, email campaigns, advertising, and influencer marketing.
  • Provide support on client content shoots, including setup, organization, and coordination on-site.
  • Contribute to copywriting for social media, email, and marketing materials.
  • Help with basic website updates and asset organization.
  • Keep projects on track by managing timelines, checklists, and team needs.
  • Act as a positive, proactive team player, stepping in wherever needed.
  • Communicate openly and effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Plush Marketing Agency is seeking a talented and versatile content creator who can excel in both photography and videography roles, depending on the specific shoot requirements. It is highly desirable for the candidate to have their own equipment and possess in-depth knowledge of their gear to deliver top-notch results. The perfect candidate will be available and flexible during weekdays (Monday to Friday) for a diverse range of shoots spanning various industries, including but are not limited to restaurants, bars, distilleries, bakeries, hospitals, legal offices, boutiques, malls, art galleries, real estate management companies, and realtors. The candidate should draw inspiration from this diverse range of businesses, industries, and projects and be equipped with a wealth of ideas, insights, and experiences to accomplish the job effectively. This exceptional content creator will thrive both independently and in collaboration with a production assistant or full on-site team, representing Plush Marketing Agency in a professional, organized, punctual, and creative manner. They should demonstrate a high level of collaboration, responsiveness, and organizational skills in all aspects of their work. The candidate should be capable of efficiently uploading labeled and, if necessary, edited content within the given timeline.While prior experience is preferred, we are open to training candidates who possess the right fit for the role.

• Creatively driven and aware of photography and videography trends for social media purposes.

• Intermediate to expert in Spanish language skills are a plus, but are not required
• Ability to work mostly weekdays + a few weekends (rare) throughout the year
